FoldDesk Remote

Your desktop.
Your business.

This policy covers FoldDesk Remote for iPhone, published by Matthew Kalenuik / MK ULTRA, and this product website.

Direct connections

FoldDesk connects directly to the computer you select. Desktop pixels, keyboard events, and pointer events travel between your device and that computer. We do not operate a relay or receive your desktop through a developer service.

No advertising or analytics SDK

The app has no advertising, tracking, analytics SDK, or FoldDesk account. We do not collect desktop content, credentials, server addresses, text drafts, identifiers, or usage events through the app. Apple may provide crash diagnostics according to your device settings; we do not add an analytics service.

What stays on your device

Server names, addresses, usernames and preferences are stored locally. Password saving is optional and uses the device’s Keychain with WhenUnlockedThisDeviceOnly access, without Keychain synchronization. Delete a saved server to remove its stored password. Typed and dictated drafts stay in memory and are not written to disk. The app keeps a small local connection-timing file containing fixed stage names and elapsed seconds only; a new attempt replaces it. It is not uploaded automatically.

Dictation

Dictation is provided by the iPhone system keyboard and is governed by your Apple settings and Apple’s privacy policies. FoldDesk receives the resulting draft text, not an audio recording. You review the draft and explicitly send it to your computer.

Network security

FoldDesk does not encrypt the VNC desktop stream. Use a trusted local network or a VPN you manage. Do not expose Screen Sharing directly to the public internet. Authentication is separate from encryption of the desktop stream.

Website and support

This website uses no advertising or analytics scripts and no marketing cookies. Our hosting and network providers process ordinary connection information, such as IP addresses and request metadata, to serve and protect the site. If you email support, we receive the address and information you choose to send and use them to answer your request. Do not send passwords, authentication codes, or sensitive desktop content. Request deletion of support correspondence by contacting us, subject to any records we must retain.

Your choices

You can delete server profiles, remove saved passwords, clear drafts, and change settings in the app. Local Network access is controlled in iPhone Settings. Removing the app removes its local app container; delete saved profiles before uninstalling if you also want to remove their Keychain passwords.
